Card Kerry-ing Democrat

It's officially Christmas season, what with (1.) all the festivities called for by one-two punch of the December 11 & 12 birthdays of Senator Kerry and Frank Sinatra and (2.) my holiday card from President and Mrs. Carter having arrived safe, sound, and before that of anyone I actually know!

And while we're on the subject of cards, the "Washington Whispers" column over at US News and World Report has provided us with a sneak peak of the holiday cards sent out this year by Guess Who?

Please do steel yourselves for an oncoming rush of squee:

And the guts:

I do wonder about the, you know, social acceptability of scanning the mail people send you and putting it all over the internets. Then again, if W.W. had not been so bold, we might not have been able to glimpse this picture, ever. And after all the snark last year about JK and THK's Cradle-to-Cradle themed greeting, I thought this was a really nice comment from US News:

Here's Sen. John Kerry's seasonal card to us, showing a cozy pose with his wife Teresa. It doesn't say anything about Christmas or the holidays, but it's festive nonetheless and wishes for peace, joy, and health. Right back at ya.

Aw.

Happy Holidays, Kerrycrats! We have earned them.

AAAAWWWWWWWWWWWW! Photo too cute for mere words. You tell just by that photo they are not faking or pretending they love each.
