I've sort of been on the sidelines when it came to VP/Cabinet speculation. I reached the point a while ago where I'd vote for Obama if he chose Lindsay Lohan as his running mate, and John Kerry is, of course, running for re-election to the Senate.

So I'm not going to say that I wanted this position for him, or that position for him, but I'm also not going to say that I haven't cast a wistful eye on the whole process and just wanted something wonderful to happen for our very favorite senator.

Well, what do you know? He went and made something wonderful happen for himself:
