Tie Day: Double Down Edition
As you may or may not have heard or read, on Monday night, John Kerry conducted while the Boston Pops played "Stars and Stripes Forever."
I know, right?
Until video of that extreme awesomeness appears online, we shall have to be content of footage of the man who inspired the whole thing in the first place, the much beloved and missed Senator Edward Kennedy.
Teddy was not just a legendary legislator. He was so full of life, spirit, and general Massachuss-yness that not only did he love to take the baton at Pops performances, he would do it while wearing two ties.
Yes, two. As in four-in-hand AND bow.
But don't just take my word for it. Watch the video, and, if you have a beverage nearby, pour one out for Uncle Ted.
