Senator Ted Kennedy's staff — playing as the Ted Sox — bested Senator John Kerry's staffers, the Chowdahs, at a softball game in Washington the other night. (Business on the Hill kept both senators from attending the game.) "The Ted Sox left no room for interpretation with a score of 14 to 8," said Kennedy spokeswoman Melissa Wagoner. "The Chowdah got burned."
I wasn't there, but I'm guessing The Chowdahs' first mistake was excluding the boss. He'll be riding in the Pan Mass Challenge again today, so send him some good, super-athletic thoughts!
