I just caught this diary at dKos by a siegal of Energize America. It's about JK and his continuing commitment to all things environmental, and it turns out we have some work to do!

For one, we need to call the following senators

Collins and Snowe of Maine
Gregg and Sununu of New Hampshire
Gordon Smith of Oregon
Chuck Hagel of Nebraska
Norm Coleman of Minnesota
Mel Martinez of Florida
George Voinovich of Ohio
Bob Corker of Tennessee
Kay Bailey Hutchinson of Texas

and tell them to get it together and start working for real change when it comes to energy issues.

Also, if you can, attend a Step It Up rally this weekend. I know it's short notice, but there will be Congresspeople - and in some cases, hot Congresspeople - at many of these events! For the cute story on how Senator Kerry got invited, click on over to the Step It Up blog!

There's even a nice pic; which leads me to believe the SIU gals must be pretty tall, because in any picture I take with JK, he looks like he's about to trip over me. But I digress.

So please call those senators, save the world, and Kerry On. You have time - the last two are practically the same thing.

Does anybody know if The Best of the Colbert Report DVDs will contain the handsome-off interview between Mr. Colbert and our very favorite US Senator?
