Christmas comes late for football fans

Remember that Patriots game nobody was going to get to see on TV?

It got the "Oh, no you didn't!" treatment from JK, and now it's going to be broadcast tomorrow on CBS and NBC.

w00t. Gotta love the effort from the guy who only watches competitive team windsurfing and was going to make French the national language! I didn't know he had it in him.

(Except I totally did.)

I'm going to tune in (but probably not pay any attention, because I hate watching commercials, and my heart belongs to the Steelers) to boost the ratings and show a bit of Kerrycrat solidarity. So, Go Pats! Kerry On!

Christmas comes late for Kerrycrats

Here's the thing:

With the holiday hangover underway, we shouldn't expect too much from the media other than lame human interest stories for a few days.

OMG, wait! What's that in the LA Times? A lame human interest story about the tall handsome man with the prominent chin and the hair like a cinder block?

Looking fetchingly fed up to be in this lame LA Times Boxing Day human interest story?

Score!

The story in question is, in my opinion, refreshingly light on the snark, which I hope is a trend that'll continue until 2008, that much longed-for election year during which many Kerrycrats will, it seems, cling to the sidelines and continue to point out media injustices leveraged against the tall handsome man. Myself included. Sorry.

Then again, I may just prefer the California variety to the Boston/Beltway/NYC brands. But I did feel this was a rare treat in its portrayal of JK, and even some of the people around JK, as, you know, an actual human being.

So, yay for humans, and thanks to the
LA Times
for injecting a moderate amount of holiday niceness, as well as a photo, into the news today. Kerry On!
